Bark Busters Dog Trainer Susan McNichol was on hand with her dog, Desiree, to assist in the Bark Buckle Up TV Appearance on 6/22/2009.  Bark Buckle Up is a non-profit organization that travels the country promoting their pet safety program.  More and more people are traveling with their pets and do not realize that at 35 mph a 60 lb. dog becomes a projectile with an impact of 2700 lbs.  Also frightened, unsecure animals greatly impede the process of first aid responders.  We all want our pets to be safe and protected at all times.  Bark Buckle Up can help with that.  Bark Buster Trainers around the country have been assisting Christina from Bark Buckle Up by being available for events and offering their well-trained dogs to model her superior products.

Many thanks again to Dr. Karen and Pat at PAWS for hosting this event!  Sue spoke to the group on the subjects of “Ten Things Every Dog Owner Should Know” and “Dog Safety”.   Of the “Ten Things”, number 3 – Dog’s Don’t Understand English, and number 4 – Dogs Aren’t Deliberately Spiteful or Naughty, brought some chuckles and some good discussion with the audience.  Sue explained that it is important to learn to communicate with your dog in his or her language, rather than trying to approach it from a human perspective.  At the end of the session, Sue fielded some great general training questions from the group – ranging from how to stop that annoying barking, to how to walk your dog without him walking you, to the rather yucky topic of a dog eating its’ own waste.  These issues, plus many, many more, are all things that your Bark Busters trainer can help you address so that you and your dog can have a better relationship, and learn to communicate properly and effectively.  (Oops!  We forgot our camera this time!  Bach, I thought you brought it!  Buster, I thought you brought it!)

Help 4 Pets Dog Tags

The Pet Protector Special Dog Tag System
The Pet Protector Tag works with your pet's microship to provide the best protection.  Think of how seatbelts and airbags work together to keep you safe in the car.  The tag, like the seatbelt, is the first line of defense.  The microship is there as a backup.

It is easy and simple.  With a lost dog, the tag is the first thing that they look for.  Your pet's unique I.D. number is on the back of the tag.  The toll-free phone number instantly connects the caller to emergency help 24 hours a day!
