I told my cousin that this week we were having a dog trainer come over to our house to help us train our puppy. She told me once again she felt that was a waste of money and laughed, asking if we hired the "dog whisperer." I just called her to let her know that was the best spent money ever. And that after the incredible change we have noticed in our puppy since this morning, that yes, I think the "dog whisperer" was here—LOL. All joking aside, my husband and I really are amazed at how quickly we saw results. Robin was extremely helpful, making us realize today that our frustrations with our puppy came from not knowing how to communicate with him and not having an understanding about dogs. This is our first dog, and we brought him home figuring it would be simple to care for him since we already had three cats. We were so frustrated with him, we had started thinking we made a mistake getting a dog. We had no idea how many things we were doing incorrectly but were amazed at how simple it is to correct them. All I can say is WOW!  Before Robin came to visit us, my dog PJ was a ball of nerves wrapped in fearful aggression, which made her a really hadr dog to have as a companion.  Constant barking and jumping up.  Licking everything/everybody one minute and snapping the next.  And her favorite past time was ripping the mail to SHREDS when it came through the mail slot!  I am happy to report that both my mom, Yvonne and PJ are MAILING the homework that Robin gave us from our first lesson.  I want to share on your Web site what I feel made it possible for us to see such immediate changes in PJ's behavior.  The second Robin walked in the door, her natural ability (her vibe) and experience got us started on the right foot.  PJ sensed Robin's "Alpha" presence and that allowed us to have a calm and focused environment for learning.  PJ AND the humans were open and attentive students!  We clearly understood the goal of the exercises.  This way, once we were alone, we were easily able to implement the training, CONFIDENTLY, on our own.  Before now, it was virtually impossible to get PJ's attention, and we had a hard time even getting her to SIT, much less stop barking!  That, CALM and CONFIDENCE that Robin exudes, to me, is PRICELESS.  I look forward to hearing about PJ's continued progress through the rest of the training sessions ... she is ALREADY a much happier dog!

Hi Sue, I just wanted to send you a quick note about how well Baily is doing.  First of all, last week I took him into the courtyard for a quick bathroom break and as we were coming out of the house, Parker and his dads were coming into the courtyard after their walk.  Baily took one look at Parker and didn't even make a peep.  He just looked at him and then went about his business.  Yea!!  Then today, I had him on a long walk when someone with two large dogs (one pit bull and one pit bull mix), was walking towards us.  Baily was in the middle of his "business" so I didn't avoid them, and their owner was open to letting Baily meed his dogs.  I could tell Baily was unsure at first so I did the correction which made him start to bark (thank goodness these were well behaved dogs with great energy!).  I corrected him again and when he calmed down I allowed him to meet the dogs again.  This time, he sniffed them, and allowed them to sniff him, and he was perfectly fine.  I am so proud of him (and me)!
